Earthborn paints are special. We do not believe you should have to sacrifice quality or style to protect your health or the environment. By carefully selecting ingredients and using technologically advanced manufacturing processes and formulations, we create outstanding products that prove our point. Earthborn provide stylish, high performance products that are safer to use and sound for the environment. Perhaps more importantly, it is not only what goes into a paint but also what comes out of it that matters.

Earthborn was founded as a small, independent brand back in 2002, with the aim of providing a true environmentally friendly alternative to conventional paints. So it is safe to say that we have been supplying eco paints in the UK since before most people had heard of ‘eco’!  Since then we have worked hard to build a trusted reputation for performance with style.

Taking a holistic approach to environmental issues we consider not only what goes into the breathable paint but also, perhaps more importantly, what comes out. Therefore all ingredients are carefully considered before being chosen, ensuring that our paints remain free from acrylics, oils and vinyls. To help consumers make an informed choice, all products carry a full declaration of ingredients. To further substantiate the eco credentials, Earthborn became the proud holder of the first UK licence of The EU Ecolabel for Indoor Paints and Varnishes, an independent accreditation scheme.

We have marketed our designer breathable paints successfully on the fact that they are high performance paints, with lots of special and unique attributes such as durability, breathability and no nasty smells. But over and above that they are also eco-friendly! For those looking for performance, sustainability, a healthier option or something beautifully different, Earthborn has it all.
